Welcome to OMGG! Oh My Gluten Free Goodness, a dedicated gluten-free and celiac-safe Cottage Bakery nestled in the heart of Southern Maryland. Here, we transform classic foods and baked goods into delightful treats that everyone can enjoy.
My journey into the world of baking began in my mother's kitchen, filled with warmth, laughter, and the irresistible aroma of homemade goodness. Those early years, spent side-by-side with her, instilled a deep love for creating delicious food. After her passing in 2004, I coped with the grief by taking a cake decorating class—something we had always planned to do together. It was a bittersweet experience that deepened my passion for the craft and I learned to be a self taught cake decorator after one lesson!
In 2020, my path took an unexpected turn when I developed a wheat/gluten intolerance. Adapting my mother’s cherished recipes to be gluten-free was a challenge, and I initially lost some customers. However, this hurdle turned into an opportunity to innovate and connect with a new community.
Today, I'm proud to serve a growing clientele who appreciate the care and quality that goes into every gluten-free creation. At OMwe’re more than just a bakery; we’re a place where memories are baked fresh daily, ensuring everyone gets a seat at the table.
